Looking for a really good job in Georgia, any help?
Well, I am gonna be honest with you. Georgia is still a 'Good Ole Boy' state. It is who you know and not what you know...unless they need something specfic.
Reply:If you're not getting calls on your resume, you may need to do some spiffing up on it. Go to http://www.free-resume-help.com for advice on resumes %26amp; cover letters.

If you're getting calls on the resume but not getting past the phone screen or interview stage, then you may need some help in that area, too. The same website covers all aspects of your job search, so look for those pages. You might want to take a look at how you're dressed, your grooming, whether or not you did a firm, professional handshake and spoke confidently but not arrogantly. During an interview, as for the business cards of anyone interviewing you. Drop them a thank you card in the mail the next day. Very frew people do this %26amp; it's a great way to stand out in the crowd.

Are you needing to relocate for the position? If so, they may thing that you're needing them to relocate you. Some companies will do this for some positions, but not all companies/positions have it in the budget. If you're needing to relocate for the position and you're willing %26amp; able to do it yourself, specify this in your cover letter ("I'm excited about a relocation back to Georgia and am able to cover my own relocation expenses once I find the right opportunity."...something along those lines will help).

I hope the right opportunity comes along soon %26amp; you wow them with your experience and your interviewing skills!
