A degree gets you to the door, but experience gives you the key... if you get what I mean lol
and one more, degree is the most important for the first job, and experience starts taking over while you're moving on.
When looking for a new job which is more important???? Work experience or school?
I would say school. If you have a college diploma (BS or higher), you'll have the opportunity to get higher paying jobs, and jobs with better benefits. It's far better to get all your schooling in first, then you'll start raking in the dough. Best of luck to you.
Reply:school gets you considered experience gets you hired.
Reply:To me, education or theory comes first, that means school. With the knowledge you learn, you can apply, experiment and gain experience on the job. The real job world requires both if you are climing the coperate ladder regardless of which is more important. You could also study part time if you are already working ie. only if you could... Learn a new skill if you could to be ahead of the herd. The word is 'Multitask'. Remember this - "there is no such thing as Golden Rice Bowl now a day". What if you could learn and earn at the same time? That would be cool!
Reply:Both, but try to be responsive to what the new prospective employer, ie interviewer, is asking you, and do not voluntier any information, unless you are asked, and then be cooperative and show them you care
Reply:yeah unfortunately for some its mostly about experience. for the big jobs anyway - for some anyway not all. things like being a doctor obviously needs the school work
Reply:both, ur academic qualification , with supporting ur work exp. u ll get a good offers
Reply:To do the job it would be experience but to get the job it would be school. If you were interviewing 2 people, 1 had very good school exam results or 1 had the experience who would you take? It would be the exam results but personally I would take the one with the experience.
